Roddy Doyle (International)
Roddy Doyle was born in Dublin in 1958. He is the author of nine acclaimed novels and Rory & Ita, a memoir about his parents. He won the Booker Prize in 1993 for Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha. The Dead Republic was the final volume in the Henry Smart trilogy.
Catherine Keenan is executive director and co-founder of the Sydney Story Factory, a not-for-profit creative-writing centre for children opening in Redfern in 2012. She was formerly a journalist with The Sydney Morning Herald, where she worked as an arts writer and as literary editor.
