Kirsten Tranter is the author of two critically acclaimed novels: The Legacy, longlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award and shortlisted for the ALS Gold Medal, and A Common Loss. Kirsten grew up in Sydney, lived in New York for eight years and holds a PhD in English Renaissance literature from Rutgers University. Debra Adelaide is the author of over 10 books including three novels, the latest of which is The Household Guide to Dying, launched at the Sydney Writers' Festival in 2008.
