A group of men travel to Las Vegas for their annual reunion, only this year’s is different: one of their number is dead and Dylan’s absence changes everything. Kirsten Tranter talks to Debra Adelaide about her second novel.

Kirsten Tranter (Australian)

Kirsten Tranter is the author of two critically acclaimed novels: The Legacy, longlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award and shortlisted for the ALS Gold Medal, and A Common Loss. Kirsten grew up in Sydney, lived in New York for eight years and holds a PhD in English Renaissance literature from Rutgers University. She lives in Sydney with her husband and son.

Debra Adelaide (Australian)

Debra Adelaide is the author of over 10 books including three novels, the latest of which is The Household Guide to Dying, launched at the Sydney Writers' Festival in 2008. She also teaches at the University of Technology, Sydney where she is an associate professor in creative practices.
