Join Steven Carroll for an exclusive Masterclass in writing fiction. This unique opportunity is open to unpublished authors seeking personalised feedback on their manuscript. Receive practical advice on how to improve your writing ready for publication.

Participation in the Masterclass program is by application only. Class size is strictly limited to 12 participants. Applicants are asked to submit the first 15 pages of their manuscript along with a brief overview of what they would like to take from the class, including three important questions they would like Steven to address during the session.

Applications have closed. Successful applicants will then be contacted and offered a place in the class.

Steven Carroll (Australian)

Steven Carroll is the author of eight novels including The Time We Have Taken, which won both the Miles Franklin Literary Award and the 2008 Commonwealth Writers’ (Regional) Prize. His other books include The Art of the Engine Driver and The Gift of Speed, both shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award; The Lost Life, shortlisted for the Barbara Jefferis Award and for the ALS Gold Medal; and most recently, Spirit of Progress. Steven lives in Melbourne.
