Join twice-winner of the Miles Franklin Literary Award Rodney Hall for a hands-on workshop addressing the techniques of ‘The New Fiction’: fiction tailor-made for delivery on e-platforms.

The publishing industry may be in flux as modes of delivery shift, however novels and short stories continue to exist and thrive. The New Fiction offers writers exciting prospects and opportunities through digital platforms. But how do you shape your stories to connect with the e-audience?

Rodney will discuss the issues confronting contemporary writers and guide you through a series of exercises in the creation of The New Fiction material.

Rodney Hall (Australian)

Rodney Hall was born in England and came to Australia as a child. After leaving school in Brisbane at 16 he worked professionally as a musician and for a while as an actor. However since 1961 he has lived by his writing, being the author of over 30 books and countless articles. He has won the Miles Franklin Literary Award twice, and many of his novels and poems have been published internationally. He lives in Melbourne.
