Politician turned author Bob Katter’s book, An Incredible Race of People, is a history of Australia from 1890 to 2010. He talks about his love of country to fellow Queenslander Kevin Rudd.

Bob Katter (Australian)

Bob Katter has been the federal member for Kennedy in Queensland since 1993, following a highly successful career in state politics where he held four ministerial positions. Originally a National Party member for most of his parliamentary career, due to his disenchantment with economic rationality that he felt the National Party was adopting he chose to stand as an Independent in the 2001 federal election, where he won in a landslide.

Kevin Rudd (Australian)

Nambour boy Kevin Rudd has been the Member for Griffith since 1998. In 2007 Kevin was from Queensland and he was here to help. In 2012 he continues to help in a range of areas he is passionate about including homelessness, indigenous affairs, organ donation and Australia’s future in Asia.
