Martin Thomas (Australian)

Martin Thomas is the author of The Many Worlds of R.H. Mathews, a speculative history-cum-biography of a pioneer Australian anthropologist. A historian, essayist and broadcaster, Martin is well known for his prize-winning book The Artificial Horizon: Imagining the Blue Mountains. He has a doctorate from the University of Technology, Sydney, and holds an Australian Research Council Future Fellowship at the Australian National University.

Bob Debus (Australian)

Robert Debus is a former member for the state electorate of the Blue Mountains and the federal electorate of Macquarie. He was the minister for home affairs in the Rudd government and attorney-general, minister for environment and minister for arts in the Carr government in New South Wales. Robert was responsible for adding two million hectares to the National Park system.
